Ingredients
For the Patties
1lb Ground lamb
¼ cup mint
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt to taste
⅓ cup feta cheese
For the Sauce
½ cup greek yogurt
½ cucumber, grated
1 tsp Colman’s Dry Mustard
1 tsp minced garlic
2 tbsp dill
To Serve
12 Slider Brioche buns
Red onion, sliced
Directions
Grate the cucumber on a box grater, and place in a sieve. Allow the moisture to come out of the cucumber and squeeze out the water. Add to a bowl with the greek yogurt, Colman’s Dry Mustard, dill and fresh garlic. Season with salt to taste and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mix together the ground lamb, mint, feta cheese, and seasonings. Only mix until the ingredients are all combined - do not over mix!
Form the meat into 12 golf ball-sized balls, and then flatten them into patties. Indent the center of the patties with your finger, to ensure that the burgers stay flat while cooking.
Cook the burgers on the barbecue, grill pan, or a cast iron skillet. Cook the burgers for 2-3 minutes per side. If you prefer a pinker center, cook for 1-2 minutes per side.
While the burgers are cooking, toast the slider buns, and slice the red onions thinly. Assemble the cooked burgers on the buns with the thinly sliced red onions, and the mustard yogurt sauce. Serve and enjoy!
